Music at Trinity announced the launch of ComposerFest, a new two-day concert experience dedicated to exploring the work of a single composer in depth. Organizers said that the inaugural event will spotlight Franz Josef Haydn, “a towering figure of the Classical period whose innovation, wit and musical imagination helped shape Western music as we know it.”
The event, held at Trinity Cathedral, 100 W. Roosevelt St., takes place Friday, April 24, and Saturday, April 25, featuring two distinct concert programs that explore Haydn’s chamber, vocal and keyboard music. Both concerts are free and open to the community.
