Food enthusiasts and beverage connoisseurs alike are invited to A Taste of AZ magazine’s A Taste of AZ Food and Drink Festival, presented by Talking Stick Resort and taking place on Saturday, Jan. 31, at Salt River Fields.

This elevated food and drink festival pairs flavors from across the Grand Canyon State and backdropped by the scenic McDowell Mountains. Hosted from 1:30 to 5 p.m. (or noon to 5 p.m. for VIP ticket holders), attendees can enjoy food samples and more from dozens of local chefs and restaurants, plus live music, cooking demos, and drinks from Arizona’s top wineries, breweries and distilleries.

All tickets to the festival will include unlimited food samples, plus 15 drink samples (beer, wine and cocktails), and free parking. Guests who upgrade to a VIP ticket will receive early event access, as well as one complimentary ticket to a Diamondbacks vs. Angels Spring Training game on Feb. 22 at Salt River Fields.

A portion of this year’s festival proceeds will benefit Healing Hospitality, an organization that helps hospitality professionals manage stress and fosters personal growth through educational, wellness-focused events. Founded in 2021 by hospitality veteran David DeLorenzo, Healing Hospitality has become a resource for industry workers seeking support and balance.

The festival features some of the state’s best restaurants and chefs where guests can expect food samples from purveyors such as the Caldwell County BBQ, Chula Seafood, Élephante and The Italian Daughter. In addition to the diverse culinary offerings, attendees can look forward to indulging in locally produced wine, beer and spirits like Cider Corps, Iconic Cocktail and The Shop Beer Co. This is the perfect opportunity to discover and experience the exceptional craftsmanship and quality of Arizona’s beverage industry. The official lineup of all the food and drink vendors will be available online.

This year’s fun will include live music, interactive cooking demonstrations, and voting for best bite and best cocktail. The festival aims to foster a sense of community and appreciation for the local food scene that is an enjoyable experience for everyone.
