Christ Church of the Ascension will host a “Concerts at Christ Church” event on Sunday, April 27, at 4:30 p.m. in the main church. This free concert, “Harpsichord Favorites,” will celebrate 400 years of virtuosic and colorful harpsichord music featuring works by Bach, Rameau, Couperin, Handel, Byrd and Howells The works will be performed by Dr. Guy Whatley, a harpsichordist and organist who has played in several of the world’s most prestigious venues
Christ Church of the Ascension is located at 4015 E. Lincoln Dr. in Paradise Valley. Donations benefitting the CCA Choir Program will be accepted at the door or at www.ccaaz.org/donate.
