The Better Business Bureau of the Pacific Southwest, Central & Inland California (BBB) will host the eighth annual Industrious Women’s Summit (IWS) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Aug. 22, at the BBB Business & Community Center, located at 1010 E. Missouri Ave.

As Tierra Terry, director of Program Engagement and Culture Development at BBB noted, although women are driving change across industries that have been traditionally male-dominated, opportunities that are designed to support women’s growth and leadership are still far too limited.

“The Industrious Women’s Summit is more than an event – it’s a movement rooted in community, connection, and the courage to lead boldly,” Terry said. “Each year, we’re honored to create a space where women across industries can feel seen, supported and inspired to keep pushing boundaries. The energy and impact of this summit remind us that when women rise, entire communities thrive.”

The event will kick off with “Breakfast, Networking and Booths,” which will give women the chance to connect with fellow attendees and enjoy a light breakfast before the keynote speakers and other presentations begin.

Tickets for the Industrious Women’s Event start at $50 and can be purchased online. For tickets or more information on IWS – Phoenix, visit iws.bbbcommunity.org.
