With the holiday season kicking into high gear, the Uptown Farmers Market is ready to help residents prepare with two special holiday markets.
Currently open on Wednesdays (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and Saturdays (8 a.m. to 1 p.m.) at North Phoenix Baptist Church, 5757 N. Central Ave., the market will hold Saturday holiday markets and Dec. 13 and 20. The market will also be open the Saturday after Christmas, Dec. 27, for those prepping to ring in the new year.
Shoppers will find everything from pantry essentials, bakery items and sweets, fresh fruits and vegetables and vegan offerings, beef, fish and other meat products, health items, coffee, tea and other beverages and artisan gifts perfect for holiday giving.
In addition, residents should be aware of two Saturday closures for upcoming parades, which are staged at the church – Dec. 6, for the APS Electric Light Parade, and Jan. 3 for the Fiesta Bowl Parade.
