Sheldon Knapp, founder of Phoenix City Grille (PCG), and Dennis Shaw, owner of PCG have launched their latest collaboration – Still & Barrel, which opened at 5812 N. 16th St. on Thursday, Feb. 5. This intimate bar, located by its PCG sister concept, is a nod to the owners’ mutual passion for fine bourbon, rare liquors and unique specialty cocktails, combined with their expertise as longtime restauranteurs and desire to create a community for fine spirits enthusiasts.
Diners can enjoy expertly crafted wine and spirits flights complemented by the cuisine they have come to know from PCG. The menu features small plates for sharing as well as full meals that complement any liquor selection.
The space also will feature specialty cocktails and, in addition to a carefully curated selection of rare finds, local favorites and timeless classics, guests will find an elevated bar program highlighting expertly crafted cocktails. Guests can take in a modern wine experience by the glass and have access to Still & Bourbon’s full retail bottle shop featuring premium, hard-to-find spirits and select wines for purchase to enjoy at home.
The spot is open for walk-ins only Thursday through Saturday, 4-11 p.m. For more information, visit www.stillandbarrelphx.com.
