Cross Roads United Methodist Church and various community organizations will host a family-friendly Community Care & Wellness Night on Saturday, April 18, from 5 to 10 p.m., at 7901 N. Central Ave.
This free event will include health and wellness screenings along with food trucks/vendors (for purchase). The first 300 individuals to complete three free screenings will receive a $5 voucher to use at the food trucks.
Prior to the wellness event, the church will host Easter Sunday events on April 5. The schedule includes Sunrise Service on the lawn at 6 a.m.; Worship Service at 9:30 a.m.; and a Pancake Breakfast at 10:30 a.m., which will be followed by an Easter Egg Hunt.
