Arizona Authors Summer Time Storytelling keeps kids reading every Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon starting May 31 through June 28 at Pueblo Grande Museum, 4619 E. Washington St.

All stories are written and presented by a local author and feature desert animal characters learning lessons about music, growing up, bullying and more.

Children in kindergarten to fourth grade will love these characters and the craft activity that follows each story. Each story time is $5 per child and includes a light snack. All participants must be accompanied by an adult.

The schedule includes: May 31, “Cheery: The True Adventures of a Chiricahua Leopard Frog”; June 7, “The Moon Saw It All”; June 14, “Fang and Stinger: An Arachnid Story”’ June 21, “Zachary Z. Packrat Backpacks the Grand Canyon”; and June 28, “Did My Owl Just Growl?”
