The Sunnyslope Historical Society will host an Open House 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13 at the Sunnyslope History Museum, 737 E. Hatcher Road. It’s a chance to reconnect after the summer hiatus and invite new visitors and new members.

The first regular meeting is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the museum. The special guest speaker is David Lincoln, youngest son of John C. Lincoln, who will speak about the history of the Lincoln family and his own accomplishments, schooling and work he did in both the for-profit and for nonprofit sectors. The program is free and open to the public.

For more information, call the museum at 602-331-3150. Regular museum hours for the fall are 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
