There is good news for jazz fans as The Nash is bringing back live concerts for its series, Nash Under the Stars, at “Venue 122,” an outdoor garden.

The Nash, a jazz performance and educational venue, will resume providing the concerts at the garden at 122 E. Culver St., outside of the Arizona Jewish Historical Society. There will be weekend concerts this month delivered in matinee, sunset and evening shows. The garden has socially distanced seating and there will be a livestream for people who buy tickets to watch concerts at home during this COVID-19 pandemic. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state guidelines related to the pandemic will be followed.

Westside Blues and Jazz is sponsoring the series, which will kick off with Ioannis Goudelis Quartet: “To Chick Corea With Love,” a tribute to the late pianist and composer Corea, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 3.

Check out Jermaine Lockhart: “Sunshine” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, at Venue 122. “Sunshine” is the feel of the lively, wide-ranging music played by Lockhart, a saxophonist who is topping the U.K. charts performing soulful jazz, pop and dance music.
