The stage is set for a blockbuster rock ‘n’ roll-themed summer at the Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, 2400 E. Missouri Ave.

Currently on exhibit in the History Hallway, right off the lobby by Frank & Albert’s restaurant, is “Rock On!” The retro photo exhibit by photographer John Robert Rowlands traces the history of rock ’n’ roll. Since 1960, Rowlands has shot literally millions of photos of rock artists and concerts, and “Rock On!” will showcase the most eye-opening and historic images. Complimentary wine tastings will be held in the lobby on Fridays from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Wright Bar will keep the heat turned up with live music in the evenings Thursday through Saturday. Wander outside at 9 p.m. on Saturdays to enjoy a fireworks show set to rock ‘n’ roll.

Holiday weekends will be party time on Squaw Peak Lawn with a “Rockin’ Fiesta,” featuring a buffet of favorite Mexican dishes and live music. Held 5-9 p.m. July 4 and Aug. 31 (Labor Day weekend), the Rockin’ Fiesta is $21 for adults and $10.50 for children. Alcoholic beverages are additional.
