Michelle Just has been elected president and Chief Executive Officer at Beatitudes Campus by the Board of Directors, effective Jan. 1. Just formerly was senior vice president of Health Services at the campus.

Just succeeds Peggy Mullan, who has held leadership positions at Beatitudes Campus for 25 years, most recently as president and CEO since 1997.

As CEO, Just will provide leadership across the continuing care retirement community and the wide spectrum of services for older people that Beatitudes Campus offers.

“Michelle has an authentic leadership style and a passion for working for older people and a desire to make a difference throughout the field of aging services,” said Ken Husband, chair of the Beatitudes Campus Board of Directors. “Since joining Beatitudes Campus, she has championed the model of wellness for older adults that promotes soundness of mind, spirit and body.”

Recognized as an innovator in the field of aging services, Just has 16 years of experience in aging services, long-term care and continuing care retirement community management. She has been a leader in service and advocacy for older adults.

“I am committed to and inspired by the mission and core values of the campus in the way we serve older adults,” Just said. “As CEO, I look forward to continuing the work of Peggy Mullan in helping to provide a uniquely welcoming community spirit and outstanding quality of care for older adults.”

Prior to joining Beatitudes Campus, Just served as admissions manager and associate director of social services at IHS of Cherry Creek in Denver. Just earned a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management and finance from Metropolitan State College of Denver.
