Did you get shiny new kitchen gadgets and household goodies during the holidays to replace your old clunkers and outdated knick-knacks? Don’t throw those old items away—donate gently used furniture, kitchen appliances, clothing and more to the White Dove Thrift Shoppe, 5035 N. 7th Ave. All sale proceeds benefit patients and families served by not-for-profit Hospice of the Valley.
The thrift store accepts donations of household items, appliances in good working order, electronics, sports equipment, jewelry, art, holiday décor, books and knick-knacks.
In addition to household goods, the store accepts medical equipment such as wheelchairs, shower benches and power scooters that are in good working order.
Donations are tax-deductible. Pick-up service is available for large items by calling 602-776-1540.
