Whether it’s a friend dropping by, a spontaneous get-together, or a planned party, Carmella Dodge of Savory Fare will teach you “Fun, Fabulous Appetizers for Any Occasion” 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15 at The Classy Kitchen, 7118 N. 7th St.

This class will demonstrate simple recipes to make your appetizers look like they took days to make. With step-by-step instruction and printed recipes, Dodge will walk you through the steps to making Eggplant/Olive Caponata, Bell Pepper Pate, and Stuffed Pizza Breads with an assortment of fillings.

Then from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27, Cathy Boa will teach you how to make her layered, luncheon Rainbow Sandwich along with a simple and delicious salad. And it wouldn’t be an afternoon without enjoying a slice of Boa’s famous rum cake. She also will share her secret cinnamon roll recipe and show you how to present them as the perfect holiday gift.
