Join the Phoenix Public Library as it participates in the third-annual “Star Wars” Reads Day, an international event that celebrates literacy and all things “Star Wars.” The event takes place 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 N. Central Ave.

Complete your Jedi training by mastering the force through a series of quests. Receive a guardian of reading certificate and help the library in its battle to defeat the galactic empire… you’re its only hope! The event is free and open to the public.
