Jennifer Mellor has joined the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce as vice president of Economic Development, where she will spearhead the chamber’s efforts to build and grow existing Arizona companies.

Mellor will lead a new initiative called Phoenix Forward that will focus on nurturing and strengthening Arizona-based companies and organizations.

Since 2010, Mellor has served as vice president of Program Development at the chamber. She started at the chamber in 2008 as part of the accounting team. She earned her bachelor’s in accounting at Arizona State University and her MBA from the University of Phoenix. Mellor also is a licensed CPA in Arizona.

The Chamber also has added two new economic development specialists to its team. Greg Tilque comes to the Chamber with an extensive background in economic development. He is a certified economic developer and has held leadership roles with the Mesa and Gilbert Chambers of Commerce and the Town of Gilbert.

Taylor Gillings most recently served as a client services associate at Fisher Investments. He earned his master’s degree in international relations policy at the University of Chicago.
