Spectrum Video & Film will hold a Happy Hour Open House from 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24 to mark its 10-year anniversary in North Central Phoenix.

Owner and North Central resident Ken Liljegren will give tours of the facility, which includes a fully equipped studio, sound booth and three edit bays. Several experts will be on hand during the open house to share their industry expertise—from how to correctly pitch an idea for a TV news story to showing off the latest professional video cameras. Liljegren will share tips on search engine optimization for web videos.

At 7 p.m., Tiffany Allison, chef and co-manager at Aunt Chilada’s, who is shopping her own reality show, “Blood Sweat & Salsa,” will share the truth of being on the set of a reality show and the drama that goes into trying to get your own show on TV.

There will be a raffle drawing for various prizes. Aunt Chilada’s will provide refreshments for the event.

Spectrum Video is located at 1747 E. Morten Ave., Suite 101. The public is invited to the open house and can RSVP to Kathi@spectrumvideoandfilm.com.
