The Youth Ambassador Exchange Program, sponsored by Phoenix Sister Cities, offers young Phoenix residents an opportunity to learn firsthand about another culture through a reciprocal six-week summer exchange program.

The deadline to apply for program is 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18.

Phoenix resident high school sophomores and juniors are selected based on their communication skills, maturity, flexibility, leadership and cultural inclusion. The students live with a host family in their designated sister cities for three weeks during the early summer and then open their home to their international counterpart when they visit Phoenix in July.
