Very curious, Daisy likes to hide in fun places like the laundry basket and leaps out to chase her toys. The American Shorthair appears reserved at first, then she steps into the light to have you entertain her.

Her favorite thing to do is pop up as you’re reading or writing. She tries to help you turn the page or assist in your penmanship. She uses the spiral binding of a notebook or binder to scratch her chin.

This social 2-year-old kitty would fit into any home and is great with dogs, other cats and even kids.

Daisy is just one of the many cats waiting for a new family at AHS’ Sunnyslope Campus, located at 9226 N. 13th Ave., but she may have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter. For more information call 602-997-7585 and ask for animal ID number A503058. To see all the adoptable pets, visit azhumane.org.
