Cox Charities recently awarded $480,000 in grants to local Arizona charities and organizations, including to Arizona Science Center, Ballet Arizona, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona, the Children’s Museum of Phoenix and Desert Botanical Gardens.

Celebrating 20 years of giving in Arizona, Cox employees also marked this milestone by granting 20 acts of kindness with Arizona charitable organizations. Employees were challenged to “give where they live” by participating in local-hands on volunteer activities in October that included pumpkin kits provided to Phoenix Children’s Hospital and food for families at Ryan House. In addition, 15 girls from Florence Crittenton’s Therapeutic Group Home were taken on a shopping spree to Kohl’s for fall and winter clothes and shoes.

Since the inception of Cox Charities, nearly $7 million has been awarded to Arizona nonprofit organizations over the past 20 years, thanks to the generous contributions of the company’s employees.
