Meet some of Arizona’s most popular Western authors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Authors’ Day at the North Mountain Visitor Center, 12950 N. 7th St. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

Featured books include:

  • “History of Sunnyslope,” part of the Images of America series, by Reba Wells Grandrud, Ph.D.
  • “The Ancient Southwest: A Guide to Archeological Sites,” by Gregory McNamee
  • “Tales of the Sonoran Desert” by Joyce Story
  • “Arizona Cookbook” and “The Chili Lovers Cookbook” by Bill Fessler
  • “Footloose from Phoenix” by Ted Tenny
