The Center for Civic Participation (CCP) hosts “Maricopa Votes,” a series of voter education issues through Nov. 2.
A free forum on “Public Safety: Re-evaluating Our Policies Pertaining to Criminal Justice, Violence, Guns & Policing,” will take place 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, in SU100ABC at South Mountain Community College, 7050 S. 24th St. (NOTE: This location was changed at the last minute, it was previously scheduled for Phoenix College).
The Center for Civic Participation, a department of the Maricopa Community College District, strives to help citizens participate in civic education and make informed choices based on non-partisan information. All forums are free to attend and open to the public. No RSVP is needed.
