Learn about the Vespa and what made it cool during a free lecture at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, at the Phoenix Art Museum, 1625 N. Central Ave.
The guest speaker is Bob Golfen, author of “How to Restore and Maintain your Vespa Motor Scooter.” During Italy’s post-war reconstruction, the Vespa became a stylish vehicle for the mass market and now lives on as the symbol of a generation. The free event is part of the museum’s Salon Series: The best of Italy.
