VisionQuest 20/20, whose purpose is to raise awareness of the need for vision screening and the early detection of preventable blindness, seeks volunteers to help at its Hope Fest event, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, April 16 at Chase Field, 401 E. Jefferson St.

Hope Fest is the largest collaboration of organizations, nonprofits, agencies and individuals who will come together to provide free medical, dental, vision, food, housing, haircuts, clothing, personal care products, child safety information and more. VisionQuest 20/20 needs 30 volunteers age 16 and older for this community event; volunteers need to commit to at least a four-hour shift.
