About 1.53 billion gallons of ice cream and related frozen desserts are produced in the U.S. annually—and July just happens to be National Ice Cream month.
Here in Phoenix, as we stay firmly planted in the triple digits, Splurge Ice Cream and Candy shop has introduced two new seasonal flavors that are light and perfect for the southwest.
Cool down with sweet prickly pear fruit mixed with a little lime juice in a flavorful sorbet. Also new to the menu is a mango sorbet, sweet and tart made with fresh ripe mangos and a bit of sugar to sweeten it up. Both additions are dairy free.
Splurge is located adjacent to Luci’s at The Orchard, 7100 N. 12th St. The little ones can enjoy a run through the adjacent splash pad after they have finished their sweet treats.
