Wildflower (formerly Wildflower Bread Company), headquartered in Scottsdale, will open its 16th restaurant on Tuesday, Sept. 11 in the historic Crown on 7th re-purposed 1950s building located at 5813 N. 7th St.

To honor the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Wildflower will offer free meals to military, veterans and first responders from open until close (6 a.m. to 9 p.m.) on that day.

Wildflower prides itself on building each location as a reflection of its new neighborhood. Darren George, vice president of Development for Wildflower, says this will be Wildflower’s most “urban” Valley location so far, featuring a vibrant environment that centers on the social aspect of dining.

The restaurant’s award-winning lunch and dinner menu will be fused with soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, handcrafted artisan breads, cakes and pies. Homestyle breakfast  items and freshly brewed coffee, cappuccino, and latte creations will be served weekdays until 10:30 a.m. and weekends until 2 p.m.

The Crown on 7th menu will remain the same as other locations in and around Phoenix, but this location will also offer local craft beers and a full array of red, white and sparkling wines. This Wildflower also introduces a completely new kitchen design that will enable patrons to see the creation of the dishes in action.
