The May Memory Café will feature a special interactive dance program at Beth El Congregation, 1118 W. Glendale Ave., on Thursday, May 3, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
While the workshop highlights the contribution of Jews in dance, it is open to anyone with memory loss and their care partners.
The café is a meeting place for those with changes in their thinking or memory, mild cognitive impairment or dementia due to Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder, along with their care partners. Offered on the first Thursday of the month, each café has a new theme and includes activities to engage the participants.
There is no charge to attend, but RSVPs are required to kathy.rood@jfcsaz.org or 602-452-4627.
