The Sunnyslope Senior Center, 802 E. Vogel Ave., continues to stay busy with programs to entertain and educate.

Duet: Partners in Health and Aging will present “Services to Help Adults Remain at Home,” 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10. Duet is a nonprofit organization that utilizes volunteers to help with transportation to doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping, light computer assistance and more. All services are provided for free to qualified seniors.

Special events include a members’ Fashion Show, Wednesday, Sept. 12; a Trivia Tournament on Sept. 20, with prizes for first, second and third place; and an Indoor Picnic on Thursday, Sept. 27, featuring hamburgers and fun games. All events begin at 10 a.m.

All programs and events are free with senior center membership ($20 annually). For more information, call 602-262-7572 or stop by the front desk.
