A restaurant that features the cuisine of Central Mexico now has a North Central Phoenix location.

Los Sombreros recently opened at 322 E. Camelback Road after having started its eatery in Scottsdale in 1994. The restaurant’s menu includes different fusions and innovations tied to Mexican food. One of its specialties is pollo con espinacas, which is grilled chicken breast over house-made chipotle cream with cilantro cream, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and queso fresco on top. Los Sombreros also is known for its Puerco en Mole Verde, which is pork smothered in green, tomatillo mole, topped with tomatoes, pumpkin seeds, onion and cilantro.

The new location is in space that used to house SunUp Brewing Company’s restaurant area. Los Sombreros has a hearty happy hour menu from 3 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. To learn more, visit LosSombreros.com.
