Mediterra Bakehouse will offer its traditional German Stollen through New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, at all Whole Foods Market and AJ’s Fine Foods grocery stores in the Valley and at the Uptown Farmers Market at North Phoenix Baptist Church at 5757 N. Central Ave. A Chocolate Cherry Levain, made with French chocolate and dried Michigan cherries, will be available through mid-May. The German Stollen, made with almonds, cherries, glacéed lemons, cherries, ground cinnamon, dark rum and other ingredients, goes for $9 and the cost for the Chocolate Cherry Levain is $10.
