Kids can get up close and personal with the Phoenix Suns Gorilla in December at Flip Dunk Sports.
Gorilla Claus, the Phoenix Suns Gorilla dressed like Santa Claus, will share some holiday fun from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, at the gym at 1515 E. Bethany Home Road. The cost is $15 per person. The friendly ape will participate in holiday activities, jump and pose for photos with visitors.
Flip Dunk Sports also will offer winter camps for children ages 4 to about 13 years Dec. 23, 26, 27, 30 and 31 and Jan. 2-3. The program is offered from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. for a half-day for $40 per day or from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a full-day for $60 per day.
During the camps, kids will participate in trampoline activities, an obstacle course, dodgeball, rope swing, jousting, fort building, noodle soccer, Flip Dunk-style baseball and other activities. To register your child, call 602-277-0067. For more information, visit flipdunksports.com.
