The city of Phoenix received $239 million from the federal government in March to help residents and businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In May the Phoenix City Council approved a Coronavirus Relief Fund Strategic Plan providing $150 million of the $239 million in available Federal CARES Act money received by the city for programs formed specifically to help those in need.

Last month the city launched a public information page that has information and updates on how the money has been spent.

Businesses and residents can find guidelines on how to seek assistance with rent, utilities, mortgage payments, business relief grants and restaurant restart grants on the webpage. Check it out at phoenix.gov/covidrelief.
