The Shemer Art Center’s annual Art in the Garden event is set for from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, on the front lawn of the center at 5005 E. Camelback Road. There will be colorful artwork with a garden theme including ceramics, wood, botanical creations and wearable pieces, along with live music and art demonstrations. At least 20 artists will participate in the event. Guests can buy raffle tickets for a chance to win artwork.

Artists will be socially distanced from each other and visitors and there will be hand sanitizer at every tent where artwork is on display, said Shonna James, president and executive director of the Shemer Art Center. It is free to attend Art in the Garden and visitors can purchase artwork. There will be timed entries to manage the number of people in attendance at the same time.
