Best Glass is showing its heart as it plans to donate money to St. Mary’s Food Bank while celebrating its 30th anniversary.

The business is donating $30,000 to the food bank to help feed people in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Its founder Bob Hittenberger said the business also is asking customers, employees, vendors, friends and others to donate money in order to reach $60,000. A financial donation of that amount would provide 420,000 meals to the community, Hittenberger said.

Rather than provides sales, promotions and giveaways to mark the anniversary, he said he wanted to help people who have lost jobs or been forced to close their small businesses during this pandemic.
