Plan your escape from Burton Barr Central Library in a virtual adventure. With the Phoenix Public Library Escape (Burton Barr Central Library Edition) you will find yourself in a fictitious situation where you explore the library after being locked inside with everyone having left. Children and their parents can learn the social, academic and classroom skills the kids will need to succeed in school during the Phoenix Public Library’s Kindergarten Bootcamp Online programs in English and Spanish. Sessions in English will be held several days this month. The interactive series has two parts: a weekly pre-class video with instructions on activities for adults and children to do together and a live WebEx class.

Kindergarten Bootcamp En Linea, in Spanish, also will be held over several days this month.

The city expanded its Wi-Fi coverage outside of libraries, community, senior and recreation centers to offer access to the internet during the pandemic.
