Arizona Gives Day is just around the corner and it will be an important time for the public to help non-profit organizations that have been struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Registration and re-enrollment is available for non-profits in the state that want to participate in the 24-hour online fundraising event. Last year the virtual event led to $6.1 million donated to non-profits around Arizona.

This year’s Arizona Gives Day 2021 will take place on Tuesday, April 6. The deadline for non-profits to enroll is March 4 and they can do that by visiting www.azgives.org.

Arizona Gives Day is an annual movement that brings together non-profits of all sizes that are new and established to celebrate and boost philanthropy in Arizona through online donations at AZGives.org. This event helps increase awareness about the vital role Arizona non-profits play in communities and inspires residents to give generously to create a stronger, thriving state for everyone.

Non-profits that register or re-register for Arizona Gives Day 2021 will discover a “roadmap” to steer them through the registration process, the chance to submit support requests online, the ability to include any matching grant amount and their fundraising goals on their profile pages, incentive prizes and other benefits. Businesses of any size can take part in Arizona Gives Day by creating an Employee Giving Fundraising Page, where a business can adopt one or more organizations to raise funds on a centralized platform for giving.

The Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and the Arizona Grantmakers Forum host Arizona Gives Day, which is presented by FirstBank. To learn more, visit arizonanonprofits.org.
