Although she may have a “new do,” just in time for summer, Millie, a sweet domestic longhair kitty is still as cute as ever.

This adorable, five-year-old domestic longhair tabby was brought to the Arizona Humane Society recently when a Good Samaritan found her as a sick stray and brought her to the shelter.

Once in AHS’ Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital, it was discovered that Millie has some bladder and tummy issues that may need to be examined by a future veterinarian and may require a special diet. With some matted fur, she also received a bit of a haircut from AHS groomers while she was undergoing treatment but her long, flowing locks will be back in no time. Millie has been doing wonderfully since being with AHS and has shown why she has become a staff and volunteer favorite so quickly.

Millie is an affectionate and loving girl, who wants lots of attention and always comes to the front of her kennel when she has visitors. Even when she was not feeling very well, this cute kitty was always her loving self with anyone who gave her a bit of their time every day. Although not a lot is known about her past, Millie is a great girl who would love a family that will brush her beautiful hair and pet her to her heart’s content. Her animal number is 660743.

While Millie might have been adopted by the time you have your Virtual Matchmaking Adoption by Appointment, AHS has dozens more wonderful pets who also need loving homes.

All AHS Adoption locations are temporarily closed, but AHS’ Virtual Adoption Matchmaking Program by appointment is available to place pets, including Millie, with their forever families. To learn more and find pets available to adopt, visit azhumane.org/adopt.
