Sip on your favorite beers at various breweries in Phoenix for a bargain while also helping to support a local, food-based charitable organization.

When you buy a PubPass – America’s Favorite Craft Beer Passport book, you can take advantage of deals at breweries and enter for a shot to win prizes at year-end parties. This offering is available around the country but there were 18 breweries participating in the program in the Valley. Some of the participating businesses in North Central are First Draft Book Bar inside Changing Hands Bookstore at 300 W. Camelback Road; Helton Brewing Co. at 2144 E. Indian School Road and The Casual Pint at 4626 N. 16th St.

When you buy the PubPass you can enjoy a pint of craft beer for one penny at the 18 Phoenix breweries, as of press time. The 2021 Phoenix PubPass costs $18. It is in a format that is similar to a passport, with a page for every participating bar that customers ask a bartender or server to stamp after receiving their free beer. For every PubPass book purchased, $1 is donated to a local, food-based charity, including St. Mary’s Food Bank in Phoenix.
