The Herberger Theater Center’s Art Gallery has been closed to in-person visitors due to the COVID-19 pandemic but you can see artwork local artists have created in the virtual “Celebration of our Earth” through May 31. Acrylics, photographs, watercolors and digital pieces make up the collection.

A portion of the proceeds from sales of all the artwork will go to the Herberger Theater’s outreach programs. Also, 30 percent of every piece bought is tax deductible, with revenue from sales assisting the theater’s youth outreach programs. To learn more or purchase artwork, contact Lauren Austin at 602-254-7399, ext. 105 or via laustin@herbergertheater.org. View the exhibit at www.herbergertheater.org/celebration-of-our-earth-virtual-exhibit.

The public also can buy pieces in the Herberger’s Art Gallery Gift Shop that are on display online and pick them up once the theater has reopened. Local shipping is available for an additional fee. For these purchases, 30 percent of the proceeds is tax-deductible and will help the theater’s outreach and education programs. To see the gift shop artwork, visit www.herbergertheater.org/art-gallery-gift-shop.
