Flower Child is putting a healthier spin on Cinco de Mayo but keeping the spice this month.
The restaurant will offer a gluten-free, vegetarian version of chicken enchiladas through Monday, May 31. It is made with Guajillo chile, smoked gouda, poblano crema, organic black bean, roasted corn and avocado. Customers can order it to eat in the restaurant or for curbside pick-up, take-out or contact-free delivery.
Flower Child, which has a location at 100 E. Camelback Road, also has responded to customers’ requests for savory lasagna that is ideal for those following the Keto diet. The restaurant recently posted on its Facebook page that it was going to make the Keto Turkey Sausage and Zucchini Lasagna a permanent fixture on the menu, saying “You asked, we answered!” This dish features organic tomato, kale, smoked gouda and ricotta.
Flower Child aims to offer healthy food including proteins that are raised naturally, without additives and organic produce steered by the wisdom of the Environmental Working Group.
