Soak up some new offerings at Pita Jungle either inside its restaurants or from its new food truck when it rolls through the neighborhood.

The locally owned and operated restaurant group that offers award-winning Mediterranean cuisine recently began serving customers with its new food truck. This 20-foot vehicle features a full, custom-built kitchen that allows employees to serve dishes from its menu outside of its 22 Valley locations. The menu includes various starters, salads, pitas, sandwiches, bowls and desserts. This food truck will offer some new items created just for the on-the-go experience and provide special meal combinations including a sandwich and salad for a set price.

Pita Jungle also recently expanded its bar menu and retail products with its own private label wines called Jungle Vino. Its two varietals are Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Customers can buy Jungle Vino while dining in-person in the restaurants and for take-out. Each bottle costs $18 and you can sip a glass of Jungle Vino for $5 during happy hour. Matchbook Wines, a family-owned winery in northern California, produces and bottles these two wines. The Cabernet Sauvignon opens with leather, smoke and mesquite to provide a blend of dark fruit, black cherry and blackberry intertwined with subtle spices, star anise and clove. Pita Jungle’s Chardonnay delivers a meticulous balance of fruit and subtle oak with a weighty, long finish and explosion of apricot, butterscotch and honey.
