Phoenix Festival of the Arts is returning this year to Margaret T. Hance Park.

This family-friendly event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, and Sunday, Dec. 12, at the park at 1202 N. Third St. It is the ninth year of this gathering, which the Phoenix New Times named the “Best of Phoenix 2020 Best Arts Festival.” More than 150 art vendors and cultural organizations will participate in the event. There will be live music and performances from popular local bands. Art demonstrations, circus performances, dance ensembles, spoken word poets and choral groups will reveal their talents in the entertainment pavilion.

Children and adults can express themselves creatively by contributing to the Phoenix Mural Project, a community, hands-on art project that is a key component of the festival. They can paint and make their mark alongside professional area artists. The Teen Artist Guild will offer fun, free activities for families in the Arts Family Zone.
