Seniors looking for ways to relax, lift their spirits and socialize can participate in classes that the Center for Senior Enrichment is offering.
The organization, under the auspices of Jewish Family & Children’s Service, provides free, daily programs via the video chat system ZOOM for older adults in the Valley. New this month, starting April 5, it is providing Hospice of the Valley’s seven-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction series. From 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Mondays, participants will learn mindfulness techniques that are believed to help relieve anxiety, depression and pain.
The Musical Instrument Museum will offer an Ethnomusicology program, focusing on the traditions and celebrations of Klezmer music at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13.
