AARP is taking nominations for its 2021 Arizona Andrus Award for Community Service, which honors state residents ages 50 and older who are enriching the lives of their community members.

Nominations will be accepted through Thursday, July 15, for residents who lend their talent, experience and skills to help others in the community. Nominees must be at least 50 years old and must have performed the service and demonstrated their accomplishments and achievements on a volunteer basis, without pay. Volunteers who receive small stipends to cover their costs linked to the volunteer activity are eligible for the award.
