The Melrose 7th Ave Street Fair (M7), a one-day event that spans over a half mile in the heart of Phoenix’s Melrose District, will celebrate its 19th annual event Saturday, March 5.

The event is hosted by the Seventh Avenue Merchants Association, a nonprofit organization established to further the unique character and assets of the Melrose Curve to facilitate safety, community, revitalization and beautification. The organization is celebrating its 21st year as an organization in 2022.

Running from Indian School Road to Campbell Avenue along 7th Avenue, the free M7 Fair will run 11 a.m.–5 p.m. and feature more than 200 local and independent artisans, food trucks, live music, farmers market, kids’ activities and craft beer garden.

Live entertainment for the event includes the Phoenix Metropolitan Men’s Chorus (11–11:45 a.m.), The Twits (noon–1:30 p.m.), The Waters (1:45–3:15 p.m.) and The Sugar Thieves (3:30–5 p.m.). Family entertainment will be offered all day, including Wild Man Phil Reptile Show and Exhibit, aerial acrobats show, Midway games, arts and crafts, magicians and street performers, face painting and more.

In addition to the scheduled activities, visitors are encouraged to stop in at the many local businesses located along 7th Avenue. Patrons can also enjoy the ever-popular Chester’s Classic Car Show, which welcomes over 200 classic, antique and vintage cars, truck and hot-rods during the event.
