Devonshire Senior Center is a 23,000 sq. ft. center located in Los Olivos Park that offers a fitness center, dance/exercise room, billiards room, meeting space and an art gallery. The Human Services Department also offers nutritional and social services for older adults, with a St. Mary’s food box distribution at 11 a.m. the first Tuesday of each month. The two departments also collaborate and a full host of activities and programs.

February activities include Geri Fit, Mondays and Wednesdays at 2 p.m.; Zumba, Tuesdays at 3:15 p.m.; Technology Hour, Wednesdays at 10 a.m.; Chair Yoga, Fridays at 10 a.m. and Draw and Sketch Class, Fridays at 11 a.m. This month, in addition to the regular programs, residents are invited to join staff for a special Arizona State Birthday Party event, 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 14.

Participants may register for the programs up to one day prior. Devonshire Senior Center, located at 2802 E. Devonshire Ave., Phoenix, offers programs and activities 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m. The center will be closed Feb. 21 in observance of Presidents’ Day. Contact the center to confirm the schedule — classes are subject to cancelation without notice.
