Sunnyslope Senior Center offers a wide variety of activities, games, billiards, exercise classes and health programs, for seniors and adults ages 18 and over.

This month, residents can enjoy programs, both in person and virtually, ranging from gentle chair yoga and Tai Chi to a book club, Mindfulness programs and much more.

Classes and programs offered in February include Beginner Tai Chi, presented Mondays 10–11 a.m. (no class Feb. 14, 21); Gentle Chair Yoga, in person or virtual, Thursdays, 10–11 a.m. (no class Feb. 17); Mindfulness, in person or virtual, Tuesdays, 11 a.m.–noon; Brain Games, Mondays, 9:30–10:30 a.m. (no class Feb. 21); and Book Club, in person or virtual, Monday, Feb. 28, 1–2 p.m.

Co-located with the Sunnyslope Community Center in the heart of Northeast Phoenix at 802 E. Vogel Ave., Phoenix, Sunnyslope Senior Center is open 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The center will be closed Feb. 21 in observance of Presidents’ Day.
