The Grand Ave Festival, presented by Downtown Phoenix Inc. and Grand Avenue Members Association, returns to downtown Phoenix for its 15th year on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A truly homegrown event, what began organically over a decade ago has turned into a sought-after, day-long street festival that showcases the amazing diversity and culture in one of the Valley’s most vibrantly creative communities. Located along the historic, lower Grand Avenue, the free family-friendly, walkable event will feature a wide variety of music and performers, hands-on crafts stations, live artist demonstrations, outdoor art installations and exhibitions, fashion shows, and kids’ activities, such as face painters and balloon artists. Merchants will be on hand selling locally made creations, as well as food vendors and food trucks selling a variety of delicious eats and drinks. All businesses along lower Grand Avenue will be open, encouraging festival attendees to explore the eclectic offerings, while they shop, dine and take in the history and vibrancy of the thriving area.

The festival will take place on Grand Avenue from 9th to 16th Avenues, which will be open to foot traffic only. Parking is limited to spots along the surrounding streets. Festival attendees are encouraged to walk/bike, use a ride share service, or the Valley Metro bus or light rail system. Entrance into the event is complimentary. Well-behaved, leashed pets are permitted.
