Heritage Square invites residents to celebrate Women’s History Month and explore the marvels of STEM with two events designed to educate, entertain and inspire.

Scheduled for Saturday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Timeless Contributions: A Celebration of Women’s History will feature live performances of Sounds of Suffrage by Arizona Curriculum Theatre (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.), a compelling lecture on the remarkable women of the Square (2 p.m.), music and lawn games. Guests also will enjoy guided tours of the historic Rosson House and tasty treats from Vampire Penguin food truck, while the Phoenix Historical Costuming Society makes a special guest appearance. Sounds of Suffrage performances are $20; the history lecture and other activities are free; Rosson House tours are $0-$15.

On Saturday, April 19, Heritage Square presents Galaxy STEM Fest, where innovation and imagination collide in an out-of-this-world celebration. This free event offers interactive activities, exciting presentations, and appearances by the Arizona Ghostbusters, STEAM Superheroes, the Dune Sea Garrison and The United Federation of Phoenix. Food trucks, cosplay, and hands-on exhibits from organizations like Coding in Color and Mad Science ensure fun for visitors of all ages.
