Valley residents are invited to step inside the timeless charm of one of Phoenix’s oldest neighborhoods as the Encanto-Palmcroft Historic Preservation Association hosts its annual Historic Home Tour and Street Fair.
The event takes place Sunday, March 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets ($30) allow guests to explore beautifully preserved historic homes; everyone is invited to enjoy a day filled with local art, food and community spirit at the free festival. Tickets for the home tour can be purchased the day of the event at the 12th Avenue and Holly Street fair entrance.
Many of the neighborhood’s homes were built prior to World War II and offer a glimpse of the charm that abounds in this 98-year-old neighborhood, once considered an ideal suburban Phoenix retreat that today is an attractive and desirable place to live.
